I am so behind on blogging…so I truly apologize.  I have so much to share…I have been so busy these past couple of weeks and there have not been enough hours in the day.  The weekend before last Skye and I had the Soul Sistas Workshop!  IT WAS AMAZING!  I have nothing to compare it to, being this was my first, but the attendees were ALL AMAZING as well as the models…could have done without the Missouri heat and humidity, but everyone endured and I truly feel, grew as artists.  I know I did!  We had women from New York, Maryland, Arkansas, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Texas, Florida, California, Oklahoma, Indiana, even the Netherlands!!!  Where else am I missing??  Anywho, I loved them all!!  True kindred spirits!

Just this past weekend I went and visited my homegirl Denise for her 435 Art Fair…it was a blast…I will share more from that trip in a few days…

yep, me, giddy.  Why you say?  Because I am meeting my girlfriend Nicole at First Watch tomorrow for breakfast.  I FREAKING LOVE First watch….I won’t be able to sleep tonight just thinking about it…and about the fact my room is now NOT the shade of yellow I was going for…different story though.

Danny said…"you are not a yellow person…don’t do yellow, you won’t like it"…why does he know me so well?  In my defense though, I do think it has more to do with the shade of yellow than the actual fact that it is yellow.  It turned out to be more custard than wheat field…sigh…I better get used to it right?

Can you believe I was called for freaking jury duty Wednesday too?  What the hay…I sure do hope it is canceled.  otherwise, the kids are traipsing up there with me…they will send me home for sure then…1 hour with Stella and they will be paying me to leave…;)

without further ado, I had the pleasure of shooting two of the cutest sisters this weekend.  Full of spunk and beauty and everything else little girls behold…

Was in the Cape last weekend for my homegirl Jill’s baby shower.  By the end her ankles looked like sausages…well to be totally honest they were kind of sausage like before it started LOL. Ahhhhh, the joy’s of pregnancy.

While I was there I had the divine pleasure of photographing Allie and Max.  In going with the A&M title I will serve up some Allie first.

She is a senior at Cape Central this year.  She was oh so pretty and oh sooo sweet…and might I say had the coolest vintage dress my eyes have ever beheld (just so you know it’s the pink stripe one).

Next up was Mister Max.  Mom is a vet,  Dad is a doc…this kids got some smart genes…He was born to make Chemistry look good…

…were used with much enthusiasm this weekend.  My neighbors table and my raggedy ann doll.  I do believe they made an appearance at almost every session lol.  The weekend was filled with beauties and cuties…aka girls and boys…Thank God for such a beautiful weekend!!

The community pool opened up too.  Of course Luke and Stella want to be there every waking hour and the only problem I have with this is that I can’t wear Spanx under my swimsuit.  Serioulsy…why the heck not?  Someone do it first.  I will follow suit very quickly…I promise.  Oh and did I mention that I hate laying out in the sun.  My mom would lay out in the sun allllllll dayyyyyy longggggg when I was a kid.  I tried to be cool like her, but I just can’t do it.  I don’t know if it is the boredom or the glare of the sun that gets me…I simply loathe it.  Now if there is a good game of water chicken or volleyball…I am all over that…WATCH OUT Gabrielle Reese.
